Mazafati Date
is one major species of fresh and wet date with over 150 000 MT annual yield. It is dark brown to black color. This type of
date was mostly consumed in our internal market but recently considerable volume of it is exported.
This type of
date is mostly cultivated in Bam and Jiroft cities of Iran.
Mazafati is the best type of wet and semi wet Dates. It must be
kept in the fridge, preventing it becoming sour due to softness and wetness especially when transportation.
Mazafati date
is mainly packaged in 800gr. packages.
